Must Have Technical/Functional Skills- Deep expertise in Guidewire architecture (Policy Center, Claim Center, Billing Center) including configuration, integration, and data model.
- Strong experience in Guidewire Cloud platform, SaaS architecture, and migration strategies.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Guidewire Upgrade process from on‑prem v10 to Guidewire Cloud.
- Proficiency in integration design (Messaging, Batch, Plugins, REST APIs, GOSU).
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud tools (Cloud Console, Dev Ops pipelines, CI/CD).
- Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain and business processes; experience with APD (Advanced Product Designer) and Rating is a plus.
- Knowledge of data migration strategies, performance tuning, and security compliance in cloud environments.
- Agile delivery experience and ability to work across distributed teams.
- Define end‑to‑end architecture for migration from on‑prem Guidewire v10 to Guidewire Cloud.
- Assess current on‑prem implementation and design cloud‑ready solutions for configuration, integration, and data migration.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Configuration Leads, and Integration teams to ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on remediation and optimization backlog items for cloud upgrade.
- Establish Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire Cloud deployments.
- Ensure compliance with Guidewire Cloud standards, security, and performance benchmarks.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide mentorship to technical teams.
- Act as a primary liaison with Guidewire for architecture‑related discussions and approvals.
- Support risk assessment, dependency management, and mitigation strategies for migration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present to CxO‑level stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills with a “get‑the‑job‑done” attitude.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement mindset.
$100,000 – $140,000 a year
