GPS - Service Now Developer - Supervising Associate
Join EY as a GPS – Service Now Developer – Supervising Associate. This role involves designing, developing, and administering the Service Now platform to improve business processes for federal, state, local, and education clients.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and manage Service Now instances, ensuring optimal performance.
- Administer user roles, permissions, and security settings in accordance with company policies.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including upgrades, patch management, and performance monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Service Now platform, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop and manage Service Now workflows, notifications, and business rules to streamline IT and business processes.
- Design, develop, and customize Service Now applications and modules (ITSM, ITOM, SPM, etc.) based on business requirements.
- Create and manage custom scripts using JavaScript, Glide, and Angular
JS. - Build custom forms, reports, and dashboards for business users.
- Implement and manage integrations between Service Now and third‑party systems (REST/SOAP, Import Sets).
- Provide technical expertise and training to users and team members on Service Now functionality and best practices.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex incidents or requests related to Service Now.
- Document solutions and issues in a knowledge base for future reference.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
- Proficiency in Service Now development, including scripting business rules, workflows, and UI Policies.
- Experience with Service Now integrations (REST, SOAP, Import Sets).
- Familiarity with Service Now Studio, Service Portal, and other development tools.
- Knowledge of Service Now reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Experience with workflow tools.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Government’s IT control environment.
- Ability to plan, execute and deliver projects on time.
- Multi‑tasking on varying projects and initiatives.
- Attention to detail; organized and thorough.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse, geographically distributed team.
- 3+ years of experience as a Service Now Developer and/or Administrator.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Service Now ITSM, ITOM, SPM etc. modules.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules (ITSM, ITOM, SPM etc.) as a plus.
We offer a competitive compensation package based on performance, with a base salary range of $89,600 to $167,600 inclusive of all U.S. locations.
