Job Summary:

Under general supervision, provide expertise and technical guidance required in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networked information systems. May be assigned more complex aspects of developing and supporting network solutions. This position will interact on a consistent basis with Network Services management and staff, user management, and team members, typically advising and counseling other team members.

• Configure, install, and support network infrastructures and software.
• Test and evaluate network systems.
• Develop project or system related documentation.
• Provide feedback to management.
• Analyze network related problems and recommend solutions.
• May deliver procedures and project documentation related to assigned areas of systems support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years of job‑related experience.

• Experience supporting enterprise wired and wireless networks.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Cisco Catalyst switching and Cisco wireless solutions.
• Familiarity with Cisco Meraki or Cisco DNA Center is a plus.
• Experience with Juniper EX switches and Juniper Mist cloud‑managed networking.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals (VLANs, routing, spanning tree, IP addressing).
• Comfortable troubleshooting wired and wireless connectivity issues at scale.
• Experience with 802.1X, RADIUS, and general network security practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to follow change‑management processes and produce clear documentation.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or CWNA are a plus.

• Advanced Degree
