Join EY’s Zscaler team as a senior engineer responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Zscaler security solutions across a diverse, globally connected environment. Work with IT and network teams to protect enterprise identity environments and drive Zero‑Trust security.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect our network infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of network environments.
- Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure secure deployment and management of network resources.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches involving Zscaler solutions.
- Implement and manage security policies and configurations within the Zscaler platform.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC
2). - Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Zscaler security best practices.
- Keep current with Zscaler security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Solid understanding of Zscaler security solutions, including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimizing Zscaler services.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and industry standards.
- Ability to implement and manage security controls in network environments.
- Understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to think critically and make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent documentation skills, including the creation of procedures, process documentation, and user documentation related to IAM applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Zscaler security solutions and their features.
- Experience with network security tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC
2). - Strong understanding of network security, identity and access management, and encryption.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Professional certifications in Zscaler, such as Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
- Familiarity with additional cloud security technologies and tools, beyond Zscaler, such as CSPM, Data Protection, AI, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud‑based security solutions and experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- In‑depth knowledge of Zscaler architecture, deployment, and configuration.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or Bash for automation and configuration management.
EY offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off. Base salary ranges for U.S. locations vary from $77,500 to $140,900, with higher ranges for major markets.
