Job SummaryThe Research Security Specialist implements and maintains security protocols, systems, and procedures to protect research technology assets and data. They conduct security assessments, monitor security incidents, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the security posture of research technology environments.
ResponsibilitiesEducational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience
Six or more years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Have an in scope government security clearance (Security Clearance Required)
- Experience in Special Access Program (SAP) Personnel Security (PERSEC)
- Experience with JADE
- Experience with DISSFamiliar with the SAP nomination process
- Special Access Program Personnel Security Official (SPO) Training
