ETL Data Engineer (SCM Domain) – contract position in Atlanta, GA.
Requires 6-8 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Snowflake, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux. Must support Manhattan DFIO application and conduct system testing.
Responsibilities- Work with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions that deliver business needs.
- Assist with design, estimation, planning, and implementation phases of projects.
- Work with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Big Query), ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Maintain excellent functional knowledge of Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems and related business processes.
- Provide after‑hours and incident support for the Manhattan DFIO application, including understanding error messages and identifying data errors.
- Create system test plans and carry out system testing.
- Follow change‑management procedures, including creating change requests in Service Now.
- Track time using time‑reporting software.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure architectural alignment and quality.
- Confirm program and application operation through testing of modified program sequences and/or code.
- Perform systems management and integration functions.
- Provide technical support for in‑scope applications.
- Collaborate with architects to develop code solutions.
- Provide solutions to complex requirements and peer‑review code of other team members.
- Create checklists for coding standards.
- Maintain key process steps defined by the customer and project management.
- Analyze current business processes, build process‑model diagrams, and recommend improvements.
- Communicate effectively during planned migration from DFIO to a new product.
- Gather and document user/project requirements, and provide best‑practice recommendations.
- Be proactive, independent, creative, and a team collaborator to achieve project goals.
- 6‑8 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Expertise with Snowflake, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Big Query).
- Experience supporting the Manhattan DFIO application and handling incident or after‑hours support.
- Strong knowledge of Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems.
- Experience in system testing and change‑management (Service Now).
- Ability to conduct design and code reviews.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing business processes and developing process‑model diagrams.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
