Job SummaryThe School of Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking to hire a limited term Research Scientist to contribute school's various research programs projects. This is an on‑campus working position.
ResponsibilitiesThe Research Scientist will collaborate with Professors Josiah Hester and Shaowen Bardzell on interdisciplinary sustainability research at the intersection of computing, design, and society.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research, writing and contributing to grant proposals.
- Lead and co‑author peer‑reviewed publications.
- Design and execute studies that explore sustainable technologies, community engagement, and responsible AI systems.
- Coordinate diverse teams and translate research insights into impactful, real‑world outcomes.
