RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.
SUMMARYThis team is strictly focused on building and scaling ML models using data to better understand how they can effectively attach trends/ultimately be proactive with sales. The Machine Learning Engineer will be primarily working on machine learning enablement; that is, pairing this engineer with another engineer and interacting with customers – including business users who range from business analysts to data scientists – and potentially other software engineering teams within the company.
The goal is to help them accelerate on their machine learning projects/applications. This person will need to be proficient in Python/PyTorch, Tensor Flow, cloud technologies, and have experience building at least two models from scratch. The team is new, and its long‑term goal is to continue to build/scale ML apps in the cloud and ultimately support the business and its revenue goals.

- Assist other teams on MLOps projects to deliver an end‑to‑end production‑ready ML model pipeline for deep learning and non‑representation‑based ML models using the appropriate technologies.
- Build their own models for other teams to then use.
- Computer Science degree, or Master’s in ML/AI, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of ML/Data Science experience.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Tensor Flow and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Vertex
AI. - Strong SQL skills.
- Understanding of data science from hypothesis to production.
- Strong communication skills and a culture fit (outgoing, team player, extremely collaborative).
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
