Senior Applications Consultant - Revenue Recognition

• The SAP Finance Team Member/Lead requires in-depth knowledge of core SAP FI modules including New GL, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, with understanding of CO processes (Cost Center Accounting and Internal Order) and its integration with FI. Experience with S/4 HANA is an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting business processes and FI module configuration, including but not limited to:
• General Ledger – Parallel ledgers, document splitting, period-end closing activities, foreign currency revaluation, integration with third-party systems to post journal entries
• Accounts Payable – Payment run and configuration, integration with Materials Management, conversions, integration with Banks (payment files, Electronic bank statements, positive pay, check payments)
• Accounts Receivable – End-to-end OTC process and FI integration with SD, incoming payments including Lockbox
• Asset Accounting – Experience implementing Asset Accounting in the US including legacy asset transfer; understand primary configuration and data needs for Asset accounting
• Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, COPA;
  Product Cost Controlling is a plus
• Nice to have – FSCM Credit, Collections and Dispute management experience

• Candidates should be flexible/willing to work across Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment

  You are an expert in one or more business processes and technology practices, accountable for translating a business case into detailed technical design, or translating technical blueprints into requirements and specifications. You may be responsible for integration testing and user acceptance testing. You act as a stream lead, guiding team members by experience and are an active member within technology communities.
• Qualification:
  
  7-10 years (minimum 3 years relevant experience in the role) with a Bachelor's Degree
• Certification: SE level 1 and seeking level 2
• Must have experience in Package Configuration
• Proficiency in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management
