Job Description - Applications Consultant 2 - Pega CSSA (053956)

Responsibilities
  • Pega SSA (Senior System Architect): identify tasks and responsibilities on a Pega implementation, create and extend a Pega application, manage rules and rulesets, leverage the Enterprise Class Structure (ECS) to promote rule reuse between case types and applications, configure roles, access groups, and privileges, manage data access within an application, create wizards to configure a sequence of assignments, and design applications for multiple device types and screen sizes, including mobile devices;

    manage integration settings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team; communicate effectively with programmers, IT staff, and non-IT functional areas.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Integrate multiple technologies using Pegasystems; architect, design, and develop advanced customizations utilizing Pega.
  • Optimize solutions by performing detailed code and design reviews; disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery; mentor junior team members in Pega technology best practices; manage offshore resources and provide technical specs to developers.
  • Follow best practices in PEGA architecture, design, and coding.
Skill Set Required
  • Pega PRPC version 7 platform experience.
  • Experience with process methodology and development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
  • Pega Senior Systems Architect Certification.
  • 5+ years of Pega implementations.
  • Experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management).
  • Experience with various rules and features such as Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services, etc.
  • Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including Enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and corporate standards, including review alerts, pre-flight checks, and PAL; enforce best practices in Pega architecture, design, and coding.
Notes on Delivery and Eligibility
  • Candidates should be flexible/willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Required Skills and Experience

You focus on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving a client’s applications and systems. You contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Core Module. You may also be responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, and/or be responsible for the design and delivery of end-user training.

  • Qualifications:

    3-7 years (2 years minimum relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Certification:
    Should have or be seeking SE Level 1.
  • Proficient in Package Configuration.
  • Progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.
