IT Support, Systems Administrator
Collaborative Real Estate develops and manages research and innovation districts that empower universities, researchers, and entrepreneurs. As part of that mission, we’re strengthening our technology backbone with a dedicated System Administrator to support our growing team.
The OpportunityWe’re looking for a hands-on System Administrator who will ensure our corporate technology platforms and third-party SaaS systems run smoothly, securely, and effectively. This role spans system administration, user support, and hardware/software management—making it a critical partner in keeping our teams connected and productive.
What You’ll Do- Administer and optimize 10–20 core systems, including Yardi, Prism, and other SaaS platforms.
- Support client onboarding by ensuring seamless integration and system access.
- Serve as Tier 1 help desk support for troubleshooting, access, and technical requests.
- Oversee hardware procurement, configuration, and deployment.
- Monitor system performance and implement reliability and security solutions.
- Manage software licenses, renewals, and vendor relationships.
- Provide user training, documentation, and IT knowledge resources.
- Support cybersecurity awareness efforts (phishing checks, vulnerability monitoring).
- Maintain data backups and recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.
- Research and recommend tools and process improvements to enable growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in system administration, IT support, or related roles.
- Experience with ERP/property management platforms (Yardi, Prism) a plus.
- Strong knowledge of system security, data protection, and IT best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or Google Workspace.
- Certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to manage IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, or rollouts.
