This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who enjoys turning complex technology and business challenges into clear, successful delivery. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead IT modernization and transformation initiatives across multiple industries, with a strong focus on healthcare and technology-enabled change. You will work closely with business, clinical and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve care, operations, and customer or patient experience.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to large IT modernization/transformation projects, from initial planning through go-live and stabilization.
- Define clear project scope, objectives, benefits, deliverables, and success measures with business, clinical, and technology partners.
- Build and manage detailed project plans, including schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, clinical, operations, technology, vendors, and partners to keep work aligned and on track.
- Run project governance, including status reporting, steering committee meetings, and executive updates, tailored to healthcare and non-healthcare settings.
- Apply proven project management methods and standards to drive consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers, including contracts, milestones, and performance.
- Anticipate and address roadblocks early, driving decisions and trade-offs to protect scope, schedule, and value.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience leading IT modernization and transformation projects (e.g. EHR/EMR, ERP/CRM, cloud migrations, data platforms, digital front door or similar initiatives).
- Experience delivering projects in both public/government and private sector organizations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Additional project management certifications (such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Formal training in project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with healthcare environments, regulations, and workflows, or other complex, highly regulated industries.
