Ability to make critical decisions under pressure, and balancing technical requirements with business objectives.

• Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences while being recognized as a thought leader across the organization and industry.

Excellent customer focus, with the ability to communicate with highly technical management teams.

• Passion for functioning in an ambiguous and evolving engineering operations environment.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will build collaborative bridges across Google including platform engineering, fleet management, tech writing, operations teams, and multiple engineering organizations. You will serve as a scout for new products, assessing risks, advocating for needs, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. You will also manage cross-functional projects in one of the world’s most impressive computing infrastructures. As the business changes at a rapid pace, you will see around corners to develop excellent operating processes and cadence to proactively adjust to business needs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
