This highly visible leader will own the OT security strategy, governance framework, and multi-year roadmap — driving risk reduction across manufacturing operations while enabling operational resilience.
The role requires close coordination across the CISO, CTO, and Business Unit DT organizations and demands a leader equally comfortable setting strategy and driving hands‑on execution.
- Define and maintain the OT cybersecurity program strategy. Develop long-term vision aligned to GE Vernova manufacturing and lab security objectives across all global manufacturing sites and enterprise-connected labs.
- Establish OT-specific governance frameworks and security standards. Author and enforce minimum security requirements for OT network segmentation, access control, asset management, vulnerability management, and wireless controls.
- Guide OT security investment and budget prioritization.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of OT security programs, including: network segmentation across manufacturing sites and labs; OT visibility and detection platform deployment.
- Drive continuous asset inventory governance, enterprise-connected lab security formalization, and OT vulnerability management standard work.
- Translate strategy into executable roadmaps. Manage program timelines, ensure work streams are resourced and milestones tracked, and report progress to ELT.
- Define and track OT security KPIs.
- Lead the global OT Cybersecurity team, and work closely with the CTO organization and the Business Unit DT Global Supply Chain Teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating OT cyber risk into business‑relevant insights and investment priorities for the DT Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Partner across CISO, CTO, and Business Unit functions to balance safety, quality, delivery, and cost in all OT security decisions, including contingency planning for vulnerabilities that cannot be patched.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Enterprise IT.
- At least 5 years of the above experience to include leading employee direct reports.
- Experience in OT/ICS network architecture and security, including Purdue Model implementation, Next‑Gen Firewall deployment, VLAN segmentation, and OT DMZ zone design across manufacturing and lab environments.
- Hands‑on experience with OT asset management platforms, Service Now asset inventory integration, Qualys, Crowd Strike, and Splunk in OT/IT contexts.
- Strong working knowledge of OT remote access security controls:
Jumpbox architecture, multi‑factor authentication, and HPA account management. - Experience with OT vulnerability management programs, including non‑intrusive OT scanning, OEM‑approved patching, compensating controls for legacy assets, and EVM standard work.
- Experience managing cybersecurity for large‑scale global manufacturing operations across multiple business segments.
