The Executive Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering strategic communication plans for senior executives within a departmental unit. This role involves crafting key messages, speeches, presentations, and other materials to effectively convey the vision, goals, and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. The specialist may also assist with media relations, crisis communications, and other high-level communication tasks to enhance the executive's content.
Strong writing, editing, and strategic thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
Job Duty 1 - Working with executives and other senior-level leadership to develop, edit, and publish high-level communications, including talking points, speeches, leadership emails, and official messages.
Job Duty 2 - Develop and implement communication strategies that align with organizational goals and support executive visibility; may advise executive on their social media presence.
Job Duty 3 - Adept with standard software and operating systems; has proficiency in presentation design and content management systems.
