This position will support routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networks, VPN connectivity, network security, and cloud networking. The ideal candidate has strong Cisco networking fundamentals combined with experience supporting modern firewall, cloud, and software-defined networking technologies.
Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Manage routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.Support Cisco and/or Meraki network environments.
Administer next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto or Fortinet.
Monitor network availability, bandwidth, latency, and performance.
Troubleshoot complex network outages and connectivity issues.
Manage site-to-site and remote-access VPN connectivity.
Support network segmentation and Zero Trust security initiatives.
Assist with Azure and/or AWS cloud networking.
Implement network upgrades, migrations, and hardware refresh projects.
Maintain network diagrams, configuration standards, and technical documentation.
Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
