Tech AI is Georgia Tech's mission-ready AI accelerator and solutions engineering organization, operating under the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research (EVPR). As Georgia Tech's front door for external AI engagement, Tech AI connects the Institute's world-class AI research ecosystem with the needs of industry, government, and society. Through a disciplined Technology Readiness Level (TRL) acceleration model, Tech AI advances innovations from research concepts to validated, pilot-tested, and operationally deployed solutions.

Tech AI at the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking a highly accomplished Research Scientist with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field and at least 10 years of applied industry experience. This role is ideal for a collaborative problem solver who enjoys developing cutting-edge AI solutions, working across diverse sectors, and translating innovative research into real-world impact.

As a Research Scientist on the Tech AI team, you will sit at the intersection of applied research and real-world delivery. You will play a major role in the development and application of advanced AI and machine learning methods to address high-impact challenges across sectors such as advanced manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, operations, financial services, healthcare, energy, and national security.

Working closely with Research Software Engineers (RSEs), faculty, students, industry partners, and government stakeholders, you will help transform promising research into robust, scalable, production-ready systems.

Beyond technical leadership, you will contribute to sponsored research initiatives, competitive grant proposals, business development efforts, and strategic partnerships that expand Georgia Tech's AI impact.
