Data Architect​/Data Engineer

Capgemini is hiring a Data Architect / Data Engineer for an onsite contract role in Atlanta, GA 30305.

• Design scalable and secure enterprise data architectures based on business requirements
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Architect solutions for data warehouses
  , data lakes
  , and lakehouse patterns
• Define data architecture principles, standards, patterns, and best practices
• Assess existing data architecture and identify modernization opportunities
• Design data solutions spanning structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external source systems
• Develop transformation and processing solutions for batch and streaming workloads
• Build reusable ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing frameworks
• Optimize pipelines and database queries for performance and scalability
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and data-quality validation
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and production data issues
• Implement cloud-based data solutions using GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Work with cloud data services including data warehouses, data lakes, object storage, and distributed processing
• Support migration and modernization of legacy/on-premise platforms to cloud architectures
• Design with scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost in mind
• Implement enterprise data standards including metadata management, data lineage, and data-quality practices
• Ensure solution designs include appropriate data access controls and security standards
• Collaborate with governance and business teams on consistent enterprise data definitions and standards
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams through architecture reviews

• Strong experience in data architecture

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Ability to conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams
