Aprio is building a managed security services (MSSP) practice focused on the Microsoft security ecosystem, serving Defense Industrial Base (DIB) contractors, DoD and federal organizations, and other regulated customers. As Director of RAAS Managed Services, you will own the service end to end — defining the offering, standing up the operations, building the team, winning the first customers, and growing the practice into a scalable, profitable business line.

This is an entrepreneurial, build-from-early-stage opportunity backed by the resources and relationships of a high-growth professional services firm. You will be equally comfortable writing a KQL detection rule, briefing a defense program manager, and presenting a P&L to executive leadership.

• Define the MSSP service catalog — including managed detection and response (MDR), vulnerability management, identity threat protection, and CMMC compliance monitoring — including tiers, SLAs, and pricing models
• Partner with sales and business development on go-to-market strategy, solution positioning, proposals, and RFP/RFI responses, including federal and DoD contract vehicles
• Serve as the senior technical voice in customer pursuits: lead discovery sessions, scoping, and executive presentations
• Develop and leverage the Microsoft partnership to strengthen service capabilities and expand market presence

• Architect a scalable, multi-tenant security operations platform built on Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Entra , Intune, and Purview, using Azure Lighthouse and Defender multi-tenant management
• Establish SOC processes — triage, incident response, escalation, threat hunting, playbooks, and runbooks — with 24x7 coverage models
• Drive detection engineering and automation, including analytics rules, KQL hunting queries, workbooks, Logic Apps/SOAR playbooks, and Security Copilot use cases, with content managed as code (CI/CD, Git)
• Design repeatable customer onboarding: data connector deployment, log source prioritization, ingestion cost optimization, and tuning
• Define service KPIs (MTTD, MTTR, SLA attainment, false-positive rates, customer satisfaction) and report on them to customers and leadership
