Business Process & Governance Engineer

One of our clients is seeking a Senior Business Process & Governance Engineer to support Data, Information, and AI Governance programs. This hybrid Atlanta, GA role will develop governance processes, documentation, and tools while working with business, IT, privacy, security, and other stakeholders.

• Design and improve governance processes, workflows, standards, and documentation.
• Translate business, policy, and regulatory needs into practical processes and frameworks.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Develop guidelines, procedures, training materials, and governance tools.
• Work independently on complex initiatives with limited direction.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Support multiple governance programs as priorities change.
• Communicate governance requirements effectively to technical and executive audiences.

• 5-8 years of experience in business process, governance, compliance, IT business analysis, or a related field.
• Strong process design, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and bring structure to ambiguous situations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
  ; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Must be local to Georgia and able to work hybrid in Atlanta, GA.

• CBAP, CISA, CIPP, or GRC-related certification preferred.
• Certifications in data governance, information governance, AI governance, compliance, privacy, or risk management are a plus.
• Higher education or experience in a complex, decentralized organization is preferred.
