Position Summary The Business Readiness & Quality Assurance Analyst provides cross-functional quality assurance, user acceptance testing, release validation, and business-readiness support for Georgia's vital records program. The position works between business operations, Informatics, information technology, vendors, and end users to confirm that system changes, enhancements, reports, interfaces, workflows, and related operational changes meet documented requirements and are ready for implementation. The Analyst develops and executes structured testing, documents and tracks defects, validates data and business rules, evaluates operational readiness, and maintains evidence supporting implementation decisions while protecting confidential and personally identifiable information.

Role Scope This position is the dedicated business-readiness and quality-assurance resource within the Data Quality and Informatics function and supports multiple vital-records domains rather than a single program portfolio. The Analyst independently plans and performs routine-to-complex testing and readiness activities within approved standards, identifies defects and operational risks, and recommends remediation, retesting, or additional readiness work. High-risk releases, unresolved material defects, policy decisions, acceptance of significant operational risk, and final production authorization are escalated to the appropriate manager, program owner, or technology authority.
