DC BLOX is seeking a business-minded technology leader to direct IT operations, strengthen enterprise capabilities, and help shape the company’s technology strategy as the business grows. The Director of IT Operations will lead enterprise platforms, end‑user services, and business application support while partnering with leaders across corporate offices, construction projects, and data center sites.

The ideal candidate combines operational depth with strategic judgment, financial discipline, and the ability to connect technology investments to business outcomes. This leader will build strong teams, establish scalable operating practices, and translate business priorities into a practical technology roadmap. The role requires a player‑coach who can guide complex decisions and critical incidents while developing the team’s ability to execute independently.

• Shape technology strategy: Partner with the SVP, IT and business leaders to develop and execute a multiyear technology roadmap aligned with company growth, operational requirements, risk, and financial priorities.
• Lead reliable IT operations: Own enterprise platforms, infrastructure services, end‑user support, and business application support, establishing clear accountability for service availability, performance, and employee experience.
• Build organizational capability: Lead and develop platform professionals, service delivery teams, application specialists, and business‑facing subject matter experts. Establish clear goals, coach emerging leaders, and build succession plans that support a growing organization.
• Serve as a business partner: Work with Finance, Construction, Sales, HR, Data Center Operations, and other functions to understand business needs, improve workflows, and prioritize technology initiatives with measurable value.
• Guide technology investments: Develop business cases and recommendations that explain expected benefits, total cost of ownership, implementation requirements, and risk. Balance immediate operational needs with long‑term scalability and maintainability.
• Manage financial performance and partners: Develop and manage operating and capital budgets within the role’s scope. Oversee vendors, licensing, contracts, and service providers, holding partners accountable for quality, cost, and business outcomes.
• Strengthen enterprise platforms: Oversee the availability, security, performance, integration, and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365, Entra , Windows Server, endpoints, virtualization, backup, monitoring, and other core technology services.
