Job Description for Business System Administrators Business System Administrator
The Business System Administrator will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems y will install, test, and maintain Example Corp's business applications. The Business System Administrator will work with the business analyst and other departments to identify and recommend solutions to improve the company's business systems. This position is based in Example Corp's headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:
- Configure and maintain Example Corp's business applications.
- Ensure that business applications are available to authorized users.
- Monitor business application performance and capacity.
- Troubleshoot business application problems.
- Apply security updates to business applications.
- Maintain documentation for business applications.
- Create and maintain user accounts for business applications.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in business systems administration or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major business system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, People Soft, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
