Analyst, Point of Sale

The Analyst, Point of Sale is responsible for Level 3 support and day-to-day execution of the Point-of-Sale platform, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the system (and overall infrastructure), which ensures elevated levels of systems availability and customer satisfaction. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all Point of Sale and associated software and hardware and executing the intake and execution of Point-of-Sale content requests (menu items, coupons/discounts, images/videos, digital display layouts, etc.).

They will build, manage, and continually execute processes from initial requirements gathering through post launch support (including build & testing and successful launch). This position will establish close business relationships with corporate and franchise teams through regular communication and business reporting. They will also be key to managing vendor relationships relative to all aspects of the POS System (including payments).

They will apply proven communication analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Executes, monitors, maintains all content changes for all aspects of the Point-of-Sale system including core functionality, payments, and integration services
• Provides Level 3 support for all core functionality, payments, integration services etc. for the point-of-sale system.
• Establishes connections with brand & franchisee teams to ensure elevated levels of success, complete understanding of requirements and serves as a brand subject matter expert (SME) in appropriate meetings
• Completes appropriate reporting for leadership reporting on workload, adherence to schedules, and quality assurance
• Continually evaluates performance and looks to evolve processes to implement lessons learned to increase quality assurance and efficiency.

Proactively shares best practices with all group members to achieve the best result. Seeks out experts to solve problems and manages external partnerships in a professional and agreed upon manner.

High School or GED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION Minimum: 3+ yrs experience in POS implementation, design, development, and implementation related to point of sale, payment, and associated technologies 0+ years of experience in project management or IT staff management experience REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple levels within the organization including executives, business owners and vendors, on complex technology initiatives, which bear tangible results
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a plus
