Bilingual (English/Spanish) Copywriter with multicultural experience
Location: Atlanta, GA 30305
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days/wk onsite)
Type: Fulltime
We’re looking for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Multicultural Copywriter
—a quick-witted, strategically minded wordsmith who moves comfortably between English and Spanish and knows how culture really works across communities.
Someone who can’t rest easy until the job is done right. We’re looking for someone who lives to write—and who understands how to make work resonate authentically with diverse and multicultural audiences.
You care deeply about how different communities see, share, and shape culture. You’re curious about the nuances—language, references, humor, and context—in both English and Spanish, and you want your work to actually land with diverse audiences, not just talk at them.
This is a hands‑on, mid‑level role (3–5 years) where you’ll bring ideas to life across channels—from social and digital video to OOH and broadcast.
Responsibilities- Craft platform‑aware copy that feels native to where it shows up (Tik Tok vs. Reels vs. You Tube vs. OOH).
- Turn briefs and insights into simple, smart, culturally aware ideas that move both hearts and numbers.
- Tailor your tone and approach to different audiences while keeping the brand voice sharp and consistent—with a specific focus on multicultural and bilingual (Spanish/English) audiences.
- Develop ideas and copy that speak directly to diverse and multicultural communities
, in English and Spanish, with language, tone, and references that feel real, not performative. - Help research and spot cultural nuances (phrasing, platforms, creators, moments) that make the work more authentic, relatable, and respectful across cultures.
- Use AI and modern tools as accelerators in your process (brainstorming, versioning, polishing)—without losing your own taste, voice, or cultural judgment.
- Keep an eye on trends, formats, and cultural moments—especially those shaping multicultural and Spanish‑speaking communities—and spot ways brands can show up in relevant ways.
- 3–5 years of copywriting experience in an agency or in‑house brand environment, working on integrated campaigns.
- A portfolio that shows clear thinking, strong writing, and ideas that live beyond a single execution, with examples of work aimed at diverse and/or multicultural audiences.
- Comfort writing across formats: social scripts, short‑ and long‑form copy, OOH, banners, email, and basic UX/microcopy.
- Digital and social fluency: you understand how people actually use platforms like Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, and emerging channels—and how different communities use them differently.
- Familiarity with using AI tools as part of your workflow (brainstorming, drafting, versioning, tightening)—with a point of view on when to trust them and when not to, especially on cultural nuance.
- Basic production know‑how: you understand the life cycle of a piece of work from brief to launch; experience on set or in edit is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
—you take feedback well, ask smart questions, and show up prepared. - Curiosity and drive: you’re hungry to learn, dial up your craft, and keep leveling up your book.
- Fluency in multicultural culture: You pay attention to how different communities talk, what they share, who they follow, and what they care about. You’re careful with nuance and excited to learn when you don’t know.
- Lived experience is a leg up: Your background, community, or experiences give you a point of view that helps make the work more inclusive and authentic.
- Bilingual (English + Spanish) required: You can write and adapt copy in both languages and understand when to localize, when to translate, and when to originate ideas separately.
Accepted file types: doc, docx, pdf, txt. Max. file size: 10 MB.
