Open Position:
Paralegal – Real Estate

The Atlanta, GA office is seeking an experienced transactional paralegal to join the Real Estate practice group. The paralegal will work directly with attorneys and clients during due diligence, closings, and post-closing work of commercial real estate transactions.

Essential Duties
  • Draft and review transaction documents and post-closing work for attorneys.
  • Manage and assist with closing of various transactions, including preparation and distribution of closing binders.
  • Index, organize, and maintain documents, correspondence, memoranda, and attorney notes.
  • Proofread legal documents and contracts.
  • Review survey and title insurance documentation for commercial real estate transactions.
  • Organize, review, and summarize due diligence materials (corporate status certificates, title examinations, surveys) and prepare necessary documentation to correct or clear title.
  • Draft status memos regarding projects.
  • Maintain current and accurate daily time records.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Work overtime and irregular hours as dictated by the firm and client needs.
Key Skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization ability, able to meet deadlines under time constraints.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with clients, attorneys, and staff.
  • Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week and irregular hours.
  • Capable of traveling locally and statewide to assist attorneys with client needs.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate optional.
  • 5–10+ years of experience as a transactional/real‑estate paralegal.
