Job Overview:
A prestigious federal employment practice law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to manage a caseload in federal employment matters. The ideal candidate will quickly familiarize themselves with the federal employment process, engage in direct client contact, and handle full-cycle litigation for various federal agencies.

Location:

• Atlanta, GA

Duties:

• Bill 1,560 hours per year.
• Manage full-cycle litigation for cases before the EEOC, MSPB, OFO, OSC, and OPM.
• Draft complaints, motions, discovery, and other case-related documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Negotiate settlement agreements.
• Conduct hearings in person, via telephone, and through video conferences.
• Advise clients on employment matters.

Requirements:

• Experience representing federal employees in employment claims or federal court litigation.
• Active bar license in any state within the United States.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills:

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
• Strong negotiation and client advisory skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a high level of organization.
