Trademark Paralegal - Atlanta - 100-110k - 5 Days on Site

The Trademark Paralegal supports attorneys and legal teams in managing trademark portfolios, including domestic and international filings, prosecution, enforcement, and renewals. This role ensures compliance with all legal and procedural requirements associated with trademark registration and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file U.S. and foreign trademark applications, renewals, statements of use, assignments, oppositions, and other documents with the USPTO and foreign IP offices.

Conduct preliminary trademark searches using databases such as USPTO TESS, WIPO, and Saegis.

Maintain and manage docketing systems to track deadlines related to trademark prosecution and litigation.

Assist in monitoring and enforcement of trademark rights, including watching services and drafting cease-and-desist letters.

Coordinate with foreign counsel on international trademark matters.

Prepare client correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision.

Assist in due diligence for IP portfolio reviews, mergers, or acquisitions.

Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical trademark files.

Support attorneys in trademark litigation or dispute resolution matters.

Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor's degree required, paralegal certificate from accredited institution preferred/

Experience:5-7 years of relevant experience

Skills:

Proficient in trademark docketing software (e.g., CPI, Foundation IP, Anaqua).

Strong understanding of USPTO and international IP procedures.

Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.
