Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, with a focus on defending insurers and their policyholders in matters including personal injury, premises liability, automobile liability, and general liability claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Provide legal analysis and strategic recommendations to clients.
• Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Trial experience is a plus.
