Experienced Litigator

Sugarman Law LLP is looking for an experienced litigator to become part of one of Atlanta’s most unique and innovative law firms. Sugarman Law is a small but growing litigation-only firm where we approach the practice of law much differently than in a traditional law firm, thus our motto “Being Different Makes a Difference.”

Located directly on the Atlanta Beltline, we work in creative, open space in a collaborative (largely paperless) environment. Our goal is to deliver the absolute highest quality legal work with a singular focus on the overall interests of our clients. For that reason, just as we have no dress code, no formal hierarchy, no requirement for office “face time,” we have no billable hour requirement—t is one of our founding principles.

Our clients hire us for interesting, challenging, and often highly personal matters. Whether our client is an individual or a business, in nearly every case, the matters with which we are entrusted are the most important thing going in in our clients’ lives. Our entire team respects the importance of these matters to our clients and strives for the best results possible.

In such an environment, we work as hard as is necessary to achieve the best result, and we have no need to mandate any billable hour commitment to our business.

We are looking for someone to become part of this team. Given our size, every member of our team is essential, and thus we are looking only for a perfect fit, particular as it relates to our unique and progressive culture. Given the complexity of our matters, high academic standards and strong (very strong) legal ability are essential. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm.

Experience in either employment law or fiduciary litigation would be a plus but not required. Our compensation and benefits are very competitive in the Atlanta legal market.
