Lead Analyst, CFA Supply Inventory & Demand Planning
Lead Analyst, CFA Supply Inventory & Demand Planning role at Chick‑fil‑A Supply. The position coordinates and manages inventory planning activities for new and existing distribution centers (DCs), supporting daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

With a fast‑paced environment and a flexible future model, the team supports current and future restaurant needs through distribution innovation.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison between the Inventory Planning team and DC Operations.
- Provide training and support for inbound policies and best practices at new facilities.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and quality for inbound receiving and inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal and external distribution partners to evaluate contingent sources and prevent stock shortages.
- Evaluate purchase order receiving schedules to align with DC capacity.
- Monitor DC inventory projections and work with the Inventory Planning team to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Track and address DC capacity constraints, partnering with stakeholders to minimize supply‑chain disruptions.
- Communicate supply constraints, item‑transition exceptions, and limited‑time offers to DC inventory teams and customer service.
- Manage internal and organizational project timelines to deliver inventory‑planning related launches on schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field; preferred with Analytics or Statistical Modeling focus.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- General understanding of inventory‑management practices and procedures.
- Strong problem‑solving and process‑improvement aptitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Humility to learn a new business while applying experience.
- Ability to work independently and across cross‑functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience analyzing large data sets using analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of basic procurement and transportation practices.
- 2+ years in inventory planning or inventory operations role.
- Experience building reports/analyses on large data sets in tools such as Excel, JMP, SAS, Tableau.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
- Travel Requirements: 15 %
