Why Consider This Job OpportunityThe Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the construction and analysis of various data related to the Supply Chain organization, directly impacting cost, efficiency, and responsibilities. This position controls various Supply Chain processes including production control points, product returns handling, scrap, supply chain security, and general supply chain support.

What To Expect (EssentialJob Responsibilities )
- Supports transportation team, logistics inventory team, trade compliance team, and warehouse as needed to optimize performance, meet organization goals, or resolve issues.
- Analyzes logistics data including various freight, inventory, and cost data to identify performance, optimize efficiency, and discover areas for improvement. Data will be collected utilizing a variety of systems including internal systems, freight forwarder systems, 3PL portals, and the CBP ACE system.
- Initiates new processes or changes to existing processes based on key factors related to logistics cost, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Creates and supports digital applications for SCM data management, potentially using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and RPA.
- Coordinates cross‑functional project teams to achieve efficiency improvements or solutions to issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Reviews and analyzes the integrity of system data and makes recommendations where changes are required.
- Supports other departments as needed with data‑related projects or cross‑functional teams.
- Performs other job‑related responsibilities and duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3+ years of applicable work experience (e.g., supply chain, logistics, etc.).
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills, including creation and analysis of data pertaining to all areas of Murata’s supply chain.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills; ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Ability to respond appropriately to situations to benefit the customer and Murata.
- Adaptability and consistent handling of changing conditions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business.
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or other data analytics software.
- Knowledge of general logistics principles and relevant data.
- Knowledge of inventory control and supply & demand principles.
