Director of Operations

Spread Bagelry is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Southeastern Region
, ensuring that the team is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. This is a key position that will work closely with the Leadership team on strategic initiatives and process implementation.

Spread's current Southeast region consists of Charleston, Savannah, and Atlanta.

• Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all store locations throughout the Southeast Region
• Develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and operational excellence
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of budgets and COGS in each store to achieve financial objectives
• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish performance metrics and monitor progress towards goals
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize business development opportunities
• Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational workflows
• Foster a culture of leadership by mentoring and developing team members to achieve their full potential
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards while maintaining high-quality service delivery

• 5-7+ years' experience in a Leadership role within the Restaurant Industry
• Experience managing multi-unit restaurants with a focus on driving operational excellence
• Proven experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
• Strong financial, budgetary, and cost control knowledge
• Strong knowledge of food industry, health code, food safety and sanitation
• Servsafe certification required within (1) month of hire
• Experience with POS and Inventory Management systems;

• Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
