Senior Project Manager – K12 Capital Construction Program
Location:
Savannah, Georgia
Base salary range: $–$ per year (actual pay will be based on skills and experience).
Responsibilities- Serve as onsite Owners Representative, responsible for all aspects of project success, including progress and technical performance.
- Manage contract administration, project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead change management, project governance, and successful turnover to the client.
- Oversee the entire project development lifecycle, from conception through completion, in accordance with program objectives.
- Manage project team members, provide construction oversight, and resolve complex construction project–related issues.
- Mentor staff, build long‑term client relationships, contribute to program strategy development, and support program leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline, construction management, or architecture.
- 10+ years’ experience in construction involving multiple phases of large‑scale building/rehabilitation projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, display leadership, and resolve critical issues pertinent to the project and client.
- Strong working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components, and technology.
- Prior experience with K‑12 building construction and/or other public projects and large programs.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), or architect license/certification.
