Senior Director @ Corps Team | Strategic Staffing Solutions Executive Director

Our client, a respected early learning center in Atlanta, is seeking an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership and oversee all aspects of the center’s operations. This role will lead staff, guide curriculum and program implementation, manage enrollment and finances, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and drive continuous quality improvement. The Executive Director will be a visible, approachable leader, shaping the center’s culture and fostering strong relationships with families, staff, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily classroom operations and curriculum implementation.
  • Support teachers, monitor child progress, and maintain assessments and documentation.
  • Ensure classroom schedules, routines, and learning environments meet program standards.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and supervise teaching and support staff.
  • Manage schedules, maintain ratios, and provide coaching and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture.
Licensing, Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure compliance with Georgia DECAL licensing regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records for children, staff, attendance, and incidents.
  • Conduct regular health, safety, and facility inspections.
Family Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with families through communication and visibility.
  • Handle parent questions, concerns, and conferences.
  • Support transitions between classrooms and promote an inclusive environment.
Operations & Administration
  • Oversee enrollment, admissions, billing, budgeting, payroll, and purchasing.
  • Maintain policies, procedures, handbooks, and operational standards.
Health, Safety & Crisis Management
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, allergy, and sanitation protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies, injuries, and illnesses; lead drills and staff training.
Community & External Relations
  • Build partnerships with schools, agencies, and community organizations.
  • Represent the center at events and maintain relationships with regulators and inspectors.
Georgia Director Requirements
  • Complete and maintain GA Director training and staff credentialing.
  • Ensure readiness for inspections and compliance with ratios, group sizes, and safety standards.
  • Lead annual licensing renewal processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience in early childhood, childcare, or nonprofit management.
  • Knowledge of Georgia DECAL licensing rules and early learning best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) and successful background check required.

Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
