Position Overview

The Director of Solution Design and Rate Review will lead and manage all aspects of a multi‑site supply chain operation for  US. This strategic leadership role is responsible for overall performance, P&L management, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and associate development. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in 3PL warehousing, solution modeling, rate reviews, and operations P&L along with a passion for operational excellence.

This role requires a hands‑on leader with demonstrated success in managing high‑volume, fast‑paced logistics operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Location

Johns Creek, GA

Schedule

On‑site, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on business needs.

Work Travel

Up to 50% domestic travel.

Compensation

Competitive total rewards package including an annual salary of $140,000–$160,000, plus bonus, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term goals aligned with ’ strategic initiatives.
  • Understand and interpret pricing models and rate creation.
  • Conduct P&L analysis coupled with profit stream tracking.
  • Perform financial reviews comparing operational performance to modeled expectations.
  • Partner with operations teams to understand gaps between modeled fee structures and real‑world implementation.
  • Develop a productivity rate library.
  • Conduct site visits once new operations hit steady state to perform full audits.
  • Prepare detailed site visit findings comparing expenses to modeled expectations, identifying areas of profit potential or loss, and providing key action items to achieve targeted profit.
  • Serve as the key R&D contact for new sites as they approach steady state through their first year of operation.
  • Provide feedback to R&D engineers based on findings from rate review analysis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on fee structures.
  • Partner with senior leadership to support cross‑functional initiatives and share operational best practices.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, HR, and R&D to deliver projects on‑time and on‑budget.

  • 5+ years of management or financial experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced 3PL warehousing or transportation operations.
  • Strong understanding of large‑scale warehousing operations, including packaging.
  • Skilled in leadership, communication, supervision, and strategic planning.
  • Proven ability to manage hourly and salaried workforce, including performance management and safety reporting.
  • Experience managing budgets, cost control, and full P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems into clear explanations for senior leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related operations discipline.
  • Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies;
    Green Belt or higher certification preferred.
  • Experience conducting site audits, financial gap analysis, and operational performance reviews.
  • Experience with solution modeling, pricing structures, engineered labor standards, and rate creation.
  • Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, HR, and R&D.
  • Understanding of automated warehousing solutions and productivity benchmarking.
