Comcast has appointed Rasheedah Carr as its vice president of engineering for its Houston operations, per a press release. Carr previously led 600 employees and supported more than 1.2 million customers in Colorado as the area VP of technical operations before returning to Houston to lead engineering initiatives focusing on network reliability and growth.
Experience and Qualifications- Joined Comcast Houston in 2017 as director of customer experience in Houston.
- Earlier served as Colorado area vice president of technical operations.
- Past roles include director of operations for Frontier Communications; 14 years at Verizon in leadership roles, including lead process engineer.
- Education:
Howard University – degree in political science; MBA from Long Island University.
“Rasheedah is a leader whose proven success for implementing operational efficiencies and developing people to enhance the customer experience will be an asset to the Houston Region,” said Ralph Martinez, regional senior vice president of Comcast Houston. “Her commitment and expertise will be instrumental in implementing new initiatives to sustain network reliability and support growth and expansion.”
