We are seeking a Vice President to join our Corporate Practice to sit 3 days a week onsite with one of our clients. You will be a strategic partner to their Global Communications team, balance and deliver on multiple campaigns across myriad business units, build and grow internal relationships within the client organization and drive material development. You will attend client meetings, brainstorms and work alongside the comms team and Zeno’s core client team in Chicago.

You will be the “face in the room” for Zeno, engaging with the company’s most senior leadership on programs, results and problem solving.

You must think and do. We’re looking for masters of the craft, who are excellent people leaders, client counselors and will roll up their sleeves and stay close to the work.

• Help develop strategic, visionary plans for clients and communicate them compellingly with supporting recommendations and substantive logic.
• Partner with client’s internal media team to build media relations strategies, including non‑traditional outlets, and conducting outreach for programs/projects as needed.
• Understand key client industry issues relating to products, product categories, technologies, primary and potential competition and general issues facing the industry.
• Ensure ongoing success with client and help grow the business through expanding scope of work using network capabilities.
• Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals.
• Drive learning and ongoing education with direct team and across agency through trend watching and general knowledge management.
• Foster and maintain relationships with client contacts and internal agency partners.
• Mentor, coach and support team members ensuring constant development of their skills.
• Provide strategic counsel, guidance and leadership to agency team and ensuring the team's success by managing work quality and productivity levels.
• Comfortable walking the client’s halls and representing Zeno in all things.

• Live in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate PR, previous agency experience a must.
• Ability to provide sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility with senior level client contacts.
• Prove history of quickly and successfully translating client needs and strategy to the larger team and ensuring their understanding of priorities. While simultaneously ensuring quality output and execution of tasks.
• Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
• Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, including developing and delivering client presentations, and new business.
• Must have an in‑depth knowledge of reputation management and a solid working knowledge of traditional and non‑traditional media. A current track record of success in building relationships with national business media and driving results for clients.
• Must have a strong background in corporate communications and solid corporate media relations contacts.

Pay range: $130,000 to $150,000 USD
