Warbird Healthcare Advisors seeks a seasoned Interim Turnaround CFO for a Critical Access Hospital with affiliated clinics in the Midwest. This engagement is expected to begin in January
2026 and will play a pivotal role in stabilizing and strengthening the organization’s financial position.
While prior CAH experience is helpful, it is not required. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on CFO with proven turnaround experience who can quickly assess challenges, execute solutions, and partner closely with executive and clinical leadership to implement Performance Improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Attributes- Lead implementation of Performance Improvement findings
- Deep, hands-on involvement with EPIC Revenue Cycle
- Complete implementation of Axiom/Strata productivity systems
- Strengthen monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Identify and execute additional financial improvement opportunities
- Provide strong oversight and management of clinic operations
- Navigate and support discussions related to bond covenant breaches
