We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Development Project Manager to oversee and drive multifamily development projects from initial concept through construction completion and turnover for a well respected South East Client. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and highly skilled at navigating the full development lifecycle, including due diligence, design coordination, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, construction oversight, and closeout. This role requires strong technical knowledge of construction drawings, building systems, cost controls, and multifamily project delivery.

• Lead and manage multifamily development projects from pre-development through construction completion.
• Coordinate due diligence activities, including site evaluations, feasibility studies, and entitlement processes.
• Oversee design development by collaborating closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, ensuring design accuracy and constructability.
• Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reporting.
• Create and manage project schedules, tracking milestones, critical path items, and potential delays.
• Lead the permitting process and maintain relationships with municipal agencies, utility companies, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee bidding, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight, including site visits, progress monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior leadership, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project closeout activities including final inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and turnover to property management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within multifamily construction and development
  , with proven success managing projects from concept through completion.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, building codes, and development processes.
• Experience preparing, managing, and analyzing budgets, cost reports, and schedules.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

• Experience with podium, garden-style, mid-rise, or mixed-use multifamily developments.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient construction.
• Experience with contractor and consultant procurement processes.
