The Client Partnership Supervisor role is primarily focused on managing and strengthening client relationships, ensuring that the client's needs are met, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and operational skills to oversee multiple brand segments.

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relationship Management

  • Lead day-to-day interactions with clients, serving as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for your assigned accounts.
  • Strengthen client relationships by becoming their go-to resource, maintaining insightful dialogue, and establishing a visible presence among their senior management.
  • Act as an ambassador for the agency’s brand, promoting the work both within the client's company and, when appropriate, to the broader marketplace.
  • Resolve day-to-day client requests and issues related to ongoing project development and quality control, ensuring client satisfaction.

Project and Team Management

  • Oversee multiple brand business segments across all functions, including strategy, development, creative, production, and media.
  • Manage junior Client Partnerships team members, as well as agency partners and clients, to drive superior client service results.
  • Proactively work with Project Management teammates to ensure project timelines, deadlines, and workflows, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.
  • Monitor industry trends to support team, client, and business needs, ensuring that strategies remain relevant and effective.

Strategic Leadership

  • Demonstrate a firm understanding of the client’s products, market, and consumer, aligning marketing objectives with sales and market-share goals.
  • Identify business insights and drivers, including brief development, testing opportunities, and new projects.
  • Steer actionable briefs and present work confidently and persuasively to clients.
  • Lead the development of client-facing deliverables such as points of view (POVs), presentation decks, and program reports, ensuring they meet client expectations.
  • Support on client planning initiatives such as quarterly and yearly planning
  • Understand scope of work and the hours associated with deliverables, including impacts on rounds of revisions and efficiencies.
  • Oversee that deliverables are managed effectively within budget, working with key agency team members to determine timeline and hours.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or add additional services for existing clients.

Team Development

  • Develop junior team members by providing coaching, training, and identifying areas for growth.
  • Effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams and agency resource teams to achieve high performance.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment, demonstrating a high level of personal responsibility and commitment to team success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • You have 7+ years of experience in client management or account management roles, preferably within an advertising or marketing agency.
  • You have a proven ability to manage and grow client relationships, delivering high levels of client satisfaction and service.
  • You’re an excellent communicator and presenter, with the ability to translate complex ideas into client-friendly narratives.
  • You’re a strategic thinker and problem solver, with a track record of developing actionable insights and strategies.
  • You have solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and project profitability.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • You understand industry trends and have your finger on the pulse of the advertising and marketing landscape.
