Director of Construction

We are seeking an experienced Director of Data Center Construction to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, mission‑critical data center developments. This role provides end‑to‑end oversight of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while meeting high standards for quality, performance, and reliability.

• Provide full lifecycle leadership for data center development projects, including design coordination, permitting, construction execution, and commissioning activities.
• Drive project delivery to meet schedule, budget, and performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory, environmental, and sustainability requirements.
• Lead procurement efforts for design consultants, contractors, and construction partners.
• Enforce technical, operational, and quality standards throughout design development, construction, and testing phases.
• Oversee on‑site construction and technical activities, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.
• Support cost optimization and constructability reviews through participation in value engineering initiatives.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and reporting to track progress and mitigate risk.
• Act as a key liaison with customers and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with contractual and technical requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to internal leadership and external partners.
• Collaborate with commercial and strategic teams to support customer onboarding and early project planning efforts.
• Provide support for real estate, leasing, and financing activities as needed.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience delivering data center or other mission‑critical construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale infrastructure or development projects in a senior or management capacity.
• Strong understanding of construction management, regulatory approvals, and site development processes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel in support of project delivery.
