The Director of Finance plays a critical role in driving financial success and scaling growth across GoTo Foods. This person works closely with GoTo Foods' executives and brand leadership to identify, plan, and execute pivotal initiatives across the company. They are a key leader within the finance organization, and will oversee a team responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, P&L management, data analytics and ad hoc support across the GoTo Foods’ portfolio.

Leveraging expertise in critical thinking and analysis, the finance team offers thought leadership and quantitative insights into the most critical matters facing the business. The Director position will own the development of strategic recommendations informed by complex analyses, research, and input from senior management. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsets, strong team leadership skills, demonstrated experience in leading multiple cross‑functional initiatives, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker grounded in logic who is also a strong team player.

• Financial Management
  • Oversee all brand financial support, including financial modeling, analytics, forecasting, annual planning, P&L management, and profitability analysis.
  • Leads the annual budgeting process, working directly with brand presidents and shared services leadership to determine and quantify short and long‑term brand strategies.
  • Utilizes predictive models to provide actionable analysis for financial performance and drive development of initiatives to deliver growth and cost efficiencies. Support numerous projects simultaneously while ensuring financial integrity and accuracy of all work.
  • Accurately assess information and reforecast implications quickly and thoughtfully.
  • Oversees all financial reporting and analysis, including sales, revenue, operations, P&Ls, overhead expenses, marketing budgets, and executive reporting.
  • Leads financial analysis and communication on major strategic initiatives, including long‑term planning, capital investments, menu changes, operations initiatives, and real estate decisions.
• Build and Direct a High‑Functioning Team
  • Manages a team of 3-4 individuals.
  • Oversees people, processes, and programs across the finance team to ensure talent for current and future needs.
  • Responsible for developing and training a high‑functioning team that provides excellent support to business partners at all times.
  • Attracts, retains, and develops highly effective professionals to deliver results and support future growth.
  • Ensures team executes performance goals and provides ongoing feedback, coaching, and development to enhance the team’s performance and capabilities, to facilitate open communication, and to encourage continuous performance improvement.
  • Identifies individual and team skill gaps, developmental areas, and opportunities (e.g., training, special assignments, projects, etc.) to advance individual and team capability.
  • Recognizes initiative, innovation, and work well done to create a positive work environment that embodies the GoTo Foods culture daily while leading by example.
• Financial Relationships
  • Partners with the brand teams and other departments to provide financial insights and support to the execution of the brands' short‑term and long‑term initiatives.
  • Develops robust relationships with senior leadership across the organization to better predict business needs and proactively identify ways to improve financial performance.
  • Interfaces with industry and professional organizations to increase awareness of GoTo Foods, to expand networking opportunities, and to remain knowledgeable of strategies, tools, and trends.

• Bachelor’s Degree, Finance, Accounting or related field of study – required
• Master’s Degree – preferred

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Preferred:
  Relevant Masters or MBA from top‑tier program
• 10+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience
• 4+ years in finance leadership roles
