Warehouse Operations Manager

Fable is seeking a hands‑on and results‑driven Warehouse Operations Manager (Contract) to oversee and optimize all aspects of our new warehouse operations in Atlanta, Georgia
. This key role is responsible for leading warehouse operations, managing vendor relationships, addressing building and maintenance issues, and ensuring that all operational activities within the facility run efficiently and safely.

The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead a small team while managing workflow, cost performance, and vendor coordination using our ERP system, Fulfil.io. During low‑volume periods, this individual is expected to work alongside the team on the floor to support daily operations and foster a collaborative environment.

• Oversee daily operations of Fable’s Atlanta warehouse, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound processes.
• Manage all operational aspects of the facility, including vendor relations, building maintenance, utilities, and equipment upkeep.
• Implement and maintain Lean and 5S methodologies to drive continuous improvement and workplace organization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the warehouse team to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Utilize Fulfil.io ERP system for inventory management, order tracking, and pick and pack fulfillment.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proactive loss prevention.
• Monitor and report on operational KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as DMAIC and Kaizen to enhance warehouse performance and reduce waste.
• Oversee and manage the warehouse budget, with a focus on cost efficiency through process improvements, vendor management, and labor optimization.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with customer service, logistics, and supply chain teams.
• Work hands‑on during low‑volume days to support the team and maintain operational flow.

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics leadership.
• Proven expertise in Lean principles and 5S implementation.
• Strong working knowledge of pick and pack processes and warehouse best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems—Fulfil.io preferred.
• Valid forklift certification and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands‑on management style.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace.
• Experience managing operational budgets and vendor relationships.
