Warehouse Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: Hourly Pay: $24–$26/hr + annual performance bonus opportunity
Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), PTO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (overtime on Saturdays as needed)
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations for a high-volume retail distribution environment supporting building materials and home improvement products. This role ensures inventory is received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse. The Warehouse Manager leads the warehouse team, drives process improvements, and partners with internal teams to support timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, storage, and shipping of products
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and safety
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and inventory controls
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff while setting clear expectations and performance goals
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, OSHA requirements, and company procedures
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support store and customer demand
- Monitor workflow, labor allocation, and space utilization to maximize productivity
- Utilize warehouse management systems and reporting tools to track performance and identify improvements
- Proactively address operational issues and resolve problems efficiently
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a warehouse leadership role
- Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications
Solid understanding of inventory management and logistics operations - Working knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
