Cash Applications Supervisor Your main responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Supervise 4 Cash App Associates daily functions including but not limited to periodic formal reviews of performance, actions, metrics, measurements and KPIs.
    • Oversee and manage the team's daily workload to ensure all department SLAs are met and incoming requests are processed accurately.
    • Develop Cash App team members through training classes and direct supervision.
    • Ensure the Cash App team follows procedures outlined in SEC SRM policy and Cash App SOPs.
    • Set targets and KPIs and continually monitor actual vs target.
  • Manage All Aspects of Cash Applications:
    • Manage daily lockbox functions that include review of summary cash reports posted compared to the bank, investigation and resolution of lockbox errors, review of remittances within banking systems, and processing of NSF adjustments.
    • Identify and solve complex cash application problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
    • Drive accuracy of cash application and work to reduce unapplied cash through collaboration with the AR and billing departments and through mentoring, training and direct supervision of the cash application team.
    • Responsible for all SEC Lockboxes (Service, Construction, Adams, EPCO, Adams Canada).
    • Responsible for TOR cash application.
    • Responsible for reconciliation of bank transactions to SAP.
    • Responsible for intercompany (CHB) customer clearings.
  • Oversee Incoming Credit Card Payments and Applications:
    • Company Administrator for Merchant Services.
    • PCI compliance.
    • Paymetric add-on.
  • Process & Technology Improvement:
    • Work with RPA designers to automate time-consuming processes in SAP.
  • What you bring
    • 2 – 5 years of Supervisory work experience in cash application or collections or a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree with 3-5 years of non-supervisory experience in cash application or accounts receivable. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
    • General Work Experience.
    • Functional Work Experience.
    • Good analytical, effective time management and organizational skills.
    • Large ERP experience required; SAP experience strongly preferred.
