Field Project Manager

Atlanta, GA – $ - $

Responsibilities
  • Travel to jobsites often to oversee project schedule, quality, communication, and execution.
  • Work alongside and take direction from Senior and Construction Project Managers to ensure successful projects/programs.
  • Report daily on project/program status based on field oversight.
  • Communicate effectively with field teams, sub‑contractors, superintendents, project managers, store management staff, and clients to keep all parties aligned.
  • Oversee multi‑site rollout construction projects from start to finish.
  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
  • Ensure construction activities move according to pre‑determined schedule.
  • Communicate with contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
  • Manage field staff effectively to execute assigned projects.
  • Monitor the progress of construction activities regularly and hold status meetings with all sub‑teams.
  • Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Inspect construction sites repetitively.
  • Handle all customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify design and construction elements likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
  • Revise quality control processes to meet customer expectations.
  • Plan and schedule team meetings to discuss project progress and issues.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly project status reports to the project team.
  • Support and execute change management activities in project scope.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of MEP building systems.
  • Proficient with computers and electronic communications in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
  • Strong client management and goodwill building ability.
  • Capacity to motivate, lead, and boost team morale.
  • Effective time management and logical decision‑making ability.
  • Capacity to handle pressure.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across construction sites nationwide.
  • Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and safety.
Work Schedule
  • Position is salaried and may require work beyond a standard 9‑to‑5 schedule.
  • Frequent travel to job sites/projects nationwide, often multiple times a month.
