OverviewAs a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll manage cross‑functional teams, coordinate across time zones, and drive initiatives that mitigate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) risks, establish safety standards, and improve training programs.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
- Certification from an equivalent agency for safety professionals.
- 5 years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve a comprehensive EHS training program aligned with industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain safety standards (e.g., Regional Safety Technical Standards, electrical safety program, energy isolation standard).
- Identify and address potential risks, develop mitigation plans to ensure project delivery and associated electrical risks.
- Forge partnerships with EHS leaders, subject matter experts, and cross‑functional teams; align training content with evolving EHS priorities.
- Monitor training effectiveness through metrics, analyze data, and propose new initiatives based on findings.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $147,000–$216,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is determined by role, level, and location.
