- Partner with investments, property managers, maintenance teams, and regional leadership to align landscaping priorities with operational goals.
- Manage all landscaping operations across multiple properties, including turf care, irrigation, drainage, plant health, and seasonal enhancements.
- Select, negotiate, and oversee third-party landscaping contractors.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor vendor performance, budgets, and adherence to service level agreements.
- Develop and manage regional landscaping budgets.
- Forecast seasonal needs and capital improvements for outdoor spaces.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure landscaping meets aesthetic and safety standards.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
- Provide training and guidance on landscaping best practices.
- Recommend water-efficient irrigation systems, native plantings, and eco-friendly solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends and integrate innovative landscaping techniques.
- Field-based role to include daily site visits and 25% - 40% overnight travel across multiple states, including air travel
- 75% of outdoor work in varying weather conditions and various terrain
- 25% - office work for planning, budgeting, reporting, and meetings
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in landscape management, preferably in multi-family or commercial real estate.
- Extensive knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and regional climate considerations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in landscape management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
