Role SummaryThe Business Steering & FP&A Leader owns the end‑to‑end business management cycle and financial planning & analysis for MCF NA
, driving operating cadence, performance transparency, and decision velocity to deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will set the rhythm of the business (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual), ensure forecast integrity and accountability, and turn ambiguous issues into quantified insights and actions across recurring revenue (ARR/MRR), growth efficiency (CAC payback, pipeline), retention (NRR/GRR, churn), customer health, and operational bottlenecks

This role also leads a team of support controllers
, animates the Finance network
, and serves as the voice of Finance in cross‑functional and executive forums—
preparing for executive visits and ensuring quality in global steering committee exchanges.
- A crisp operating rhythm that improves decision velocity, forecast quality, and accountability.
- Clear, actionable visibility into business health (ARR, NRR/GRR, churn, pipeline, CAC payback, margin) with early‑warning signals
. - High‑quality diagnostics that accelerate resolution of complex issues and drive execution to closure.
- On‑time, high‑quality forecasts and monthly reporting with sharp insights (drivers, risks, opportunities).
1) Business Management Cycle & Governance
- Own and run the operating cadence
: weekly exec/staff rhythm, monthly performance reviews,
QBRs
, and annual planning
. - Build executive‑ready scorecards
, KPI dashboards, and decision memos that connect strategy to execution and outcomes. - Translate decisions into accountable actions (owners, timelines, risks, dependencies) and track through closure
. - Ensure quality control for global project steering committee exchanges;
prepare for executive visits and high‑stakes reviews.
2) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Own the MCF NA forecast and monthly reporting processes; lead presentations to Executive Leadership and LB
. - Clearly summarize key drivers of performance and financial results; highlight actions for leadership and alert to risks/opportunities
. - Steer Annual Performance to meet Group targets; track progress initiatives across the North American Finance network.
- Provide financial input and build models for strategic planning
, quantifying impacts of proposed actions.
3) Recurring Revenue & Customer Outcomes
- Drive governance of ARR/MRR performance
, ARR bridge storytelling (New + Expansion – Churn), and forecast integrity
. - Establish visibility and accountability on retention and customer outcomes
: NRR/GRR, revenue vs. logo churn, renewal risk, and adoption/usage signals
. - Partner with Marketing & Sales on growth efficiency (CAC payback, pipeline health) and identify bottlenecks.
- Lead ad‑hoc root‑cause analysis on revenue trends, churn, pricing, demand, and operational constraints.
- Actively participate in business steering forums (
PILCO
, Pricing
, Demand Review
, S&OP
, Strategic Planning
, Financial Review
) and represent Finance leadership when the CFO is unavailable. - Ensure alignment between global initiatives and regional execution
; drive clarity and accountability across stakeholders.
- Own / manage, MCF NA Scorecard
, a set of industry benchmark metrics and internal significant metrics that drive and deliver strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated operational excellence and process transformation experience.
- Commercial controlling experience with transverse management responsibilities.
- Executive presence to lead monthly presentations to MCF NA Leadership and represent Finance in cross‑functional forums.
- Ability to influence without authority
, challenge assumptions, and ensure financial impacts are weighted in strategy. - Comfortable engaging in decisions across staffing, customer contracts, incentive programs, exceptional payments, commercial T&Cs, and confidential market evolutions/consolidations.
